From the 8th century to today — The Story of Alipa

Alipa Bay, a key location in the port, was named after pirate "Alipos." During the Cold War, NATO built a navy base. It became an important part of the local community and transformed into a leading destination among visitors to Corfu.

How many people can each boat cater to?

The number of guests per boat varies to the type of boat. During the booking process, you can choose the number of guests in your party, and we provide the boats accordingly.

Can we jump and swim?

Of course! It is not allowed to jump from a moving boat, but you can jump while the boat is anchored or if someone is on the boat. DO NOT JUMP FROM THE BOAT WHILE THE ENGINE IS RUNNING!!!

How long is the trip?

Trip times depend on the type of trip you choose during the booking.

Do we need a license to drive the boat?

No license is required for all engines under 30 HP. Above 30 HP engine a qualified captain is required.

 What do we see on the trip? what locations and beaches we will visit?

The basic tour will take to the caves of Paleokastritsa area (blue eye cave, etc.) and the nearby beaches such as Paradise beach, Stellari, and more

Can we drink alcohol on board?

Sure!

Do you provide coolers and ice?

All boats have coolers, we can provide ice, drinks, and snacks depending on the different trip packages.

Can we snorkel?

Sure, snorkeling is recommended, some boats will have snorkeling equipment provided as well.

What do I do if I don’t know how to drive a boat?

Don”t worry, we got you covered. Every self-drive boat rental will start with a 15 min lesson on the boat and how to drive, drop anchor, and what areas to be aware of. We will also provide a detailed map and instruction manuals.
